Dr. Rachel K. Langley founded Homestead Direct Primary Care because she believes patients deserve better than rushed visits and endless phone hold times. After years working within the traditional insurance-driven system, she opened her own independent clinic in Gleneagle, Colorado, where she could finally practice medicine the way she always wanted to.

As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Langley serves patients in the Monument, Black Forest, and North Colorado Springs areas. She has opted out of the insurance system entirely, which means she works directly for her patients—paid only by them, with no conflicts of interest to keep a corporate entity happy. This model lets her spend real time with each person, respond to texts and calls promptly, and build the kind of doctor-patient relationships that used to be the standard.

Homestead DPC is part of a growing movement called Direct Primary Care, which treats insurance as something for large expenses and emergencies, not a way to pay for routine annual care. The practice has partnered with local labs, imaging centers, and specialists to keep costs transparent and reasonable. Some say it's like Netflix for healthcare—there whenever you need it.
